The aesthetics and color palette served as an initial source of attraction, while the cultural depth guided the conceptual direction. Indigenous culture, much of which has nearly vanished, holds significant historical and symbolic value. This project focuses on the Haida tribe, aiming to support the preservation of its unique cultural heritage through the design of a dedicated system.

The Haida are an Indigenous tribe living along the Pacific coast of North America (Canada–USA). Traditionally, their economy was based on fishing and hunting, which enabled and supported their rich artistic and ceremonial practices.
Renowned for their craftsmanship, the Haida produce highly stylized and intricate works that reflect the natural world around them. They specialize in wood carving (especially totem poles), unique textile weaving, and authentic jewelry making.
The Haida people have existed for over 8,000 years, historically functioning as an independent political unit, with each village family considered an autonomous entity. Today, their population numbers only around 2,500.
