The platform makes sustainable living effortless by offering a smart scanner that guides users on how to properly separate and recycle items, an interactive "My Neighborhood" map for easy navigation to nearby bins, and a personal rewards wallet. By turning green habits into points redeemable at local small businesses, re:cycle transforms everyday recycling into a rewarding, community-driven experience.
Color Palette
The app’s color palette is anchored by a clean, focused core of dark green, white, and bright green, creating a precise balance between credibility and energy. The dark green conveys stability, trust, and municipal authority, while the white ensures a spacious, highly readable, and breathable interface. The bright green serves as a dynamic accent color, driving focus toward interactive elements and calls to action.
